Dreams Do Come True

Is it possible to live on a farm but still have a short daily commute to the city? The answer:

Yes – in Toowoomba!

Todd Rohl and Dr Clive Williams are great examples of how Toowoomba folk can mix city-style careers with country living.

For more than a decade they dreamt of owning a farm and breeding Thoroughbred Horses while maintaining successful careers - Todd as CEO of Toowoomba Chamber and Dr Clive as a prominent psychologist and author. So, they bought a property at Boodua, which is about 25km from Toowoomba, and everything fell into place.

Coming home to the farm is worlds away from our city life,” said Todd. “It’s peaceful and we have space to work with our horses and yet there’s a city on our doorstep with everything we could ever need."

Acreage properties 30 minutes from the Brisbane CBD would cost a fortune. But here, prime farm land close to the city is still affordable so it’s a lifestyle that can be enjoyed by many.
